Time travel is still travel Right?, Either way Back to the Future, one of my favorite movies of all times deserves to be on this travel list. Join Marty McFly played my Michael J Fox as he travels back to 1950’s in a modified DeLorean car. He meets a young version of his parents and threatens to rip a hole in the space-time continuum. Two sequals were equally as good

Seven Years in Tibet tells the story of Austrian mountaineer Heinrich Harrer who visits Tibet during World war II and the subsequent Chinese invasion. Harrer (Brad Pitt) visits the holy city of Lhasa and becomes a tutor to the young Dalai Lama and learns the teachings of Buddha. With the Tibetan border still closed to foreigners this movie might be as close as you can get to the holy city.
