The Jukkasjärvi Icehotel is located in northern Sweden and features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice. This hotel is offering an amazing opportunity to see the Northern Lights.

The rooms hold a temperature of between -5 to -8 degrees Celsius and each room features individual hand-carved ice furnishings by international artists. To keep warm you sleep in thermal sleeping bags on beds covered with reindeer hides. To warm up in the morning all guest can enjoy a shared sauna.  Rooms feature flat screen TV, private bathroom and shower as well as free WiFi.

The Jukkasjärvi Icehotel offers a  restaurant and bar on site where you can enjoy traditional dishes made using local ingredients. The warm lounge area also allows you relax with hot drinks and snacks or enjoy cocktails from the below freezing Icebar.

This part of northern Sweden is perfect for seeing the Aurora Borealis and guests can also enjoy dog sledding, reindeer sled excursions, and snowmobile tours.
