The incredible Snowman World Glass Resort is located within the Santa Claus village in Rovaniemi, Lapland, Finland. This extremely popular location is the perfect place to experience the Aurora Borealis. The accommodation has been designed for an unobstructed view of the Northern Lights with all apartments offering large windows and glass ceilings.

The glass huts are inspired by the classic Kota huts used by the indigenous Sámi people. Each hut is 40 m2 in size and includes a double bed + sofa bed. They also come with a sauna and private outdoor hot tub, toilet and bathroom.  A mini kitchen with fridge, kettle, coffee maker, microwave and stove makes them perfect for families or couples looking for a romantic getaway.

The complex features a 24-hour front desk, tour desk for booking amazing tours nearby as well as an on site restaurant. For entertainment each Snowman World Glass Resort apartments also feature WiFi internet connection, Flat Screen TV and entrance tickets to Snowman World Winter Zone. Rovaniemi is located well inside the arctic circle and gives you the best chance to see the mysterious Northern Lights.

Getting to Snowman World Glass Resort

The Snowman World Glass Resort is located in Rovaniemi in northern Finland.

By air: Daily flights are available from Helsinki to Rovaniemi, the flight takes about 1h20m and the airport is approx 2 km from the resort.
By train: Daily trains leave Helsinki bound for Rovaniemi, these trains take between 9-12 hours depending on weather.
By Car: Driving takes around 10 hours, and is is a good idea to stop half way along the journey. Jyvakskyla is a great place to stop.
