Arcteryx is a well-known outdoor clothing company founded in Canada in 1989 by a group of climbers. The name and logo refers to one of the earliest known bird species Archaeopteryx. In 1993 the company launched the Bora backpack which features their revolutionary Vapor technology still used by the company today.
Arcteryx are probably best known for their mountaineering and climbing packs however they also make a wide range of hiking, backpacking and general commuter backpacks and duffel bags. The quality of the backpacks is exceptional however the pricing can be a little expensive for some of the models. Our favorite Arcteryx backpack is the Pender which is perfect for everyday travel.
