Guesthouse Husky is a family owned business that is located five kilometers from outside the Ivalo village  in the far north of Finland. Ivalo is a popular village for experiencing the northern lights and comparable to the more well known Saariselkä. This guesthouse is set on a dog farm in Finnish Lapland, this family-run guest house offers traditional home cooking and husky safaris.

The hotel is made of log houses as they blend well with the natural surroundings. The guesthouse has 3 floors. The reception, the dining, and fireplace are located in the basement of the building. The sauna and washing room are also located in the basement. The hotel serves breakfast as part of the price. The hotel also offers dinner at an extra cost

There are four rooms on the first floor. The two rooms for four persons on the 2nd floor of the hotel. You can book larger rooms that can be used by families, two adults plus two children can occupy the room. You can book a single room if you are traveling alone.

Every room has its own private bathroom and toilet. in the double rooms, you will find two beds, bedside tables, armchairs, and a small table and television. The guests have access to a well-equipped kitchen that can be accessed by all guests. You can prepare your own meals in the common kitchen.
